Systems Biology Lab
Institut Pasteur, Paris
Systems biology is an approach to study biological systems to elucidate their components and their dynamical interplay in order to understand the functioning of the system as a whole. The study of biological systems is enabled by new technologies that measure cellular components and their interactions on a large scale. Our research group focuses on developing experimental-computational approaches for the analysis of large data sets from global measurement technologies and their integration. Our group also develops corresponding tools and software, notably Cytoscape, which is the standard open-source platform for visualization and analysis of interaction networks and large-scale 'omics data sets.
